Tim Gallaudet Adm. US NAVY (Ret.)
Admiral Timothy Gallaudet is a distinguished figure in the fields of oceanography and naval meteorology. Born on March 18, 1967, in Hollywood, California, he embarked on a notable career after graduating from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography. His academic journey continued at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, where he earned both his Master's and Ph.D. in Oceanography. Gallaudet's military service is marked by his role as the Oceanographer of the Navy and Commander of the Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command. His expertise extends to weather and ocean forecasting, hydrographic surveying, and developing strategies against illegal fishing activities. After retiring from active duty, Gallaudet served as the Acting Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere and the Acting Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). As of 2024, he leads Ocean STL Consulting, LLC., and contributes to the American Blue Economy Podcast. Gallaudet is also recognized for his involvement in UAP research, advocating for the de-stigmatization of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) and unidentified submerged objects (USO) within scientific and military circles.
