David Grusch Maj. USAF (Ret)
Major David Grusch is a decorated Afghanistan combat veteran and former intelligence officer in the United States Air Force (USAF). He has served in various high-profile roles, including positions at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). From 2019 to 2021, he represented the NRO to the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) Task Force, and later co-led UAP analysis at the NGA until July 2022.
In 2023, Grusch gained significant attention for his whistleblower claims regarding UAPs. He testified before the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, alleging that the U.S. government, in collaboration with private aerospace companies, has been involved in secret programs to recover and reverse-engineer non-human spacecraft. Grusch's claims include the existence of a multi-decade program to retrieve and study UAPs, which he believes has been concealed from the public. Despite denials from the Department of Defense and NASA, his testimony has sparked considerable debate and interest in the field of UAP research
